Preparation
- Presentation must be prepared in Microsoft-PowerPoint (*pptx) and compatible with Windows 11.
- Presentation slides must be prepared with 16:9 format (landscape orientation) and have 1920 x 1080 minimum resolution.
- Pictures need to be in JPEG format.
- Videos need to be in mp4 h264 format.
- All presentations will be delivered in English.
- Please use a USB memory stick and name the file with your name, presentation day and session name (e.g. “John_Doe_Tue_SessXX.pptx”).
Onsite
- Lecture halls are equipped with LCD projector, beamer, microphone and laser pointer.
- The LCD projector resolution is 1920 x 1200 pixel.
- If combining video films with PowerPoint, please make sure to check it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during a break prior to your session, at least one hour before the start of the session.
- In order to use MAC presentations on a PC compatible computer, please prepare it according to the instructions below, before bringing it to the Conference:
1. Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font on a PowerPoint based PC).
2. Insert pictures as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT – these images will not be visible on a PowerPoint-based PC). -
Speakers, who wish to use their own Mac, should bring their own HDMI adaptor. It is important that they test that everything works properly well in advance in their respective hall.

The use of the provided computers is recommended.

In order to prevent delays in the session, we do not recommend that speakers use their personal computer. However, if you wish to do so, make sure that your laptop has an HDMI socket for external signal, and coordinate it with the A/V technician in the session hall, at least one hour before the start of your session. In addition, please check your computer in the session hall during a break prior to your session.
- Technicians will be at the session halls.
- Presenters are asked to hand the electronic file(s) of their presentation to the technicians at their session hall at least one hour prior to the beginning of their respective session.

- It is required that your presentation strictly adheres to the given presentation talk time, as stated in the online program.
- Please find below the length of various presentation formats:
- Plenary talk: 30 minutes (27 minutes presentation + 3 minutes Q&A)
- Invited talk (please check the program / instructions sent to you):
- 25 minutes (23 minutes presentation + 2 minutes Q&A)
- 20 minutes (18 minutes presentation + 2 minutes Q&A)
- Oral abstract presentation (13 minutes presentation + 2 minutes Q&A)
